Madden 12 Review

 

Over the years Madden games have been huge and have become one of the biggest franchise games in history. Every year the new Madden games come out with the latest players and better graphics which keep getting closer to looking like real life. The new upgrades this year are how good each individual player reacts in different situations. For example in a tough situation with the defense blitzing in how often your quarter back (depending on who it is) will scramble, throw a completion, or throw the ball away. Different players at different positions have skills that they are good at for instance some quarter backs can not accurately throw a pass if the are running at the same time but they are very accurate while staying in the pocket and passing, like Tom Brady. In “Madden 12″ the defense is smarter and can adapt to plays now so it makes it more challenging when you are playing on offense. Also playing on the defensive side it is somewhat hard to get interceptions but the hits are harder and more realistic. ”Madden 12″ just like last years Madden still has gameflow so if you are not good at choosing plays then the game will pick the play they think will work in the situation you are in. I love Madden games and thought “Madden 12″ came out very well I love the new graphics and gameplay and I would really recommend getting it.

MTV Shows

In the modern-day teenagers mostly watch shows that involve drama. These shows are usually reality T.V. for example ”Teen Mom” and “Jersey Shore.” In “Teen Mom” the show is about how teenagers have basically thrown their life away because they got pregnant to young. These teens mostly show it is very difficult to be a parent because some have had to quit school in order to work full-time so they can support their child and for other financial reasons. Others still live with their parents and not with their partner and work part-time and are still enrolled in school or they just got to school and the parents support the teenager and the child financially. Some teens on the show who still live at home have signed over custody to their parents because they feel they are not fit to have custody but they still help out with taking care of the child. When you watch the show it seems like it is supposed to show teens not to have kids at an early age but what I really think drags teens to watch the show is all the drama that goes on in the show. Most of the time the teens are fighting with their parents because the parents are trying to get the teenagers to grow up and be responsible now that they have to take care of a child but the teenage mothers and fathers mostly still act like children. Also if the teenagers (mother and father) move in together there is drama weather they are fighting over financial reasons or simply because they do not get along. I hope most of the teenagers who watch this show watch it and learn from the mistakes of the teenagers on the show and not for the fact that there is a lot of drama and is entertaining which is mostly the reason teenagers watch shows in modern-day society.

 

The Greatest of All Time

Eminem like many rappers has gone through a lot in life before he became famous. He grew up in Detroit city, lived in a trailer with his mom and stepfather. He separated from his girlfriend Kim and still did everything to take care of his daughter Hailey even though he had no money. Growing up in Detroit it was hard for him to become a rapper because he was white and most rappers are black and most of the fans of rap are black. Eminem had to start off rapping in rap battles where u rap against an opponent and the crowd decides who the winner is. Even with all the crime in Detroit and being white which put his life in danger when rapping at these clubs Eminem followed his dreams and went to these rap battles. One day a rapper/producer named Doctor Dre heard about Eminem and liked how he performed so he signed him to a record deal which was the start his career. Eminem’s songs are different from most rappers, in most of his songs he talks about how tough his life was growing up in Detroit but he also talks about how he was abused by his step father and mother growing up. He talks about how much he loves his daughter and how he became a rapper so he could support her and give her a good life growing up. And just recently he became clean from being addicted to sleeping pills and other drugs he was doing which makes him a role model in my eyes. Eminem fans like me enjoy his music because the lyrics he says are different and are just better than other rappers because you really feel the message he is trying to get across. I guess you just realize the life he has had and when he puts it in his songs you just feel his pain and respect him as a person who overcame the odds, fought for his daughter, and captured his dream.

The Lockout Continues

As many people know by now the national basketball league is still under lockout which means the players are refusing to play. The lockout started because of a dispute over money between the players and the owners of the NBA. This dispute has been going on since the summer and shows no signs of stopping. The owners feel they are not making enough money and the players even though most are making over millions of dollars dont want to give up any money. The owners make all the decisions and deal with most of what goes on in the NBA so I agree they probably should get payed more and the players have more than enough money so they can risk not making as much as they do now. But in the player’s defense people come to games to watch the players not the owners and that is where all the money comes from so I understand why the players feel they should not have to get payed less. But what both sides are doing now is loseing money because of this dispute and it has gone from cancelling the pre season to cancelling half the regular season. Now the owners made another offer to the players on 11/14/11 which the players turned down which now questions if there is even going to be a 2011 NBA season at all. This is very disappointing to me and all the other NBA fans who looked forward to watching basketball this year, it is a shame that the fans have to suffer because both the owners and players are being greedy, showing that in the modern day all people think about is making money. The players need to realize that back in the Micheal Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson era they were not making as much money as the players do now. There is a reason for why in that era there was never a lockout and thats because they did not play for the money, they played for the love of the game like many players now a days claim to do. So i think the owners should be making more money because the players do not need to be making all the money they do now, but they should make alot of money because they are the reason the NBA and owners make money in the first place. Even though it does not look good I still hope there is an NBA season and if not lets hope the lockout does not continue over to next years season or come back anytime soon.

 

Steps to Putting in Contact Lenses

 

1.)    Wash
both of your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

2.)     Dry your hands with either paper towels or a
regular towel.

3.)    Take
contacts out of solution filled contact case.

4.)    Clean
the contacts with contact solution.

5.)    Hold
cleaned contact with your index finger on the opposite side of the eye it goes
into.(left index finger holds right eye’s contact)

6.)    Hold
up contact to the light and check to see if there are and hairs or holes in
the contact and that it is not inside out.

7.)     Use the index finger on the hand that is on
the same side of your eye that the contact is going into to hold open the top
of your eyelid.

8.)    Use
the middle finger with the opposite hand to hold open the bottom eyelid.

9.)    With
both eyelids held back slowly place the contact with your index finger onto
your eyeball.

10.)   When contact is in your eye romove fingers and close eye so contact does not fall out of your eye.

11.)    Repeat the same steps for the opposite eye.

 

The League

The league is a show on FX which premiered on October 29, 2009. They have already made two seasons and this year the third season has already started. It is a hilarious show in which there are these six regular everyday kinds of guys who are obsessed with fantasy football and will do anything to win while dealing with other problems in their everyday lives. They formed a league together and have a trophy for the winner of the league which is pretty much their goal in life. Fantasy football is something that started a few years ago in 2006 and in it you draft players form teams in the NFL and depending on how well these players do in their games in real life effect how well they do in your online fantasy team. They show is based on how addicctive fantasy football has become which case makes it funny because you witness how something so meaningless actually means so much in their lives to a point where that’s all they think and care about. This allows the viewers to relate to the show because some viewers also act foolish when it comes to fantasy football or that they at least know someone who does. And everyone has something meaningless that they act foolish over which you can relate to the characters fantasy football addiction. Viewers also can relate to the characters because they seem like regular people like the viewers who are watching it and some of the characters are husbands and one of them has kids. They do funny things like trick or blackmail one another into making trades to make their team better so they can win. The show is based on fantasy football but that is not what it is all about, they get into a lot of crazy situations and you really do not have to know a thing about football because just how they act makes the show funny. I recommend the show it is catching on quick it is one of the more popular shows on FX now, it is on every Thursday at 10:00 pm.
